Hillel 818’s March in Photos
March was joyful and meaningful month. For Purim we put on our best costumed and partied but also made Mishloach Manot for PATH with our community partners Repair the World and Hillside Memorial. We held our second successful Blood Drive and Gift of Life swabbing day of the year at CSUN. We closed out the month with our annual Pride Week to celebrate our LGTBQIA+ community. Macabbiah Games Kickoff Event- Teams made their flags and engaged in debates to earn their first round of points in the games with the Blue Team coming out victorious.
Greek Shabbat- We welcomed members of Greek Life at CSUN for Shabbat services, dinner, and a competitive game of Family Feud.
Purim Palooza- Our students came in costume for a night of games, crafts, food, and fun!
Mishloach Manot- Hillel 818 Partnered with Repair the World LA and Hillside Memorial Park to prepare Mishloach Manot for PATH.
Macabbiah Games Trivia Night- The 4 teams gathered at Dog Haus for a night of trivia and a chance to win even more points for their team with the Blue Team once more winning the event.
Jackbox Game Night- Students gathered to play a series of games and socialize.
Blood Drive & Gift of Life- Hillel 818 partnered with SAEPi to run a blood drive and bone marrow swabbing drive on CSUN campus, filling up all the donor spots despite the rain!
Macabbiah Games Game Night- Through a series of different games such as Jenga and Mario Kart the teams rallied to win as many points as they could from each game with the Green Team winning the night.
Goat Yoga- We helped our students unwind with some yoga and playtime with goats.
Persian Shabbat- Hillel 818 celebrated Persian culture through a Shabbat service incorporating Persian traditions, a Persian meal, henna, and more fun activities.
