Senior Spotlights: Class of 2023
We are so proud of all of our seniors graduating this year! They are all going onto do great things and we can't wait to have them involved in our new Young Alumni Circle. Get to know a few of them below!
Devereux Eulloqui
Devereux Eulloqui is a Jewish Studies major at CSUN and served as our LGBTQIA+ Programming Intern for the 2022-23 school year. Dev's favorite Hillel event is our Rainbow Shabbat from this year. When asked what advice he has for future students, he said, "My advice for students is to be active and join Hillel!"
Naomi Levine Sporer
Naomi Levine Sporer is a Early Childhood Development major at CSUN and a member of the sorority SAEPi. Naomi's favorite Hillel event was her first Shabbat at Hillel because "that is where I met my friends who I'm still friends with today." Naomi's advice for future students is, "Get involved in organizations/clubs on campus which can truly help make your college experience more impactful and fun over throughout your college years. No matter how much schoolwork and classes you are taking, it is important to take time to have a social life and fun as well because that what college should be about!"
Rebecca Cohen
Rebecca Cohen is a Manufacturing Systems Engineering major at CSUN. Rebecca's favorite Hillel event was the Hillel formal where she got to be the DJ. Her advice for future students is, "Make sure to have fun! No matter how much school work you have its important to take a break and have a good time."
Lorraine Barnes
Lorraine Barnes is a History major at CSUN and was our LGBTQIA+ Engagement Intern and Board Games Kehilah leader for the 2022-23 school year. Lorraine's favorite Hillel event was Drag Bingo at Hamburger Mary's during Hillel's Pride Week. Their advice for future students is, "Talk to professors out of class, and talk to classmates. Plan out your classwork but make sure to set aside time for social events, meeting friends or hanging with current ones! And also, Cs still get degrees!"
Eden Shashoua
Eden Shashoua is a Business Law major at CSUN and member of the sorority SAEPi. Eden's favorite Hillel events were the Hillel Paint Night in 2021 and the Rose Ball Hillel Formal in 2023. When asked what advice she has for future students, she said, "My advice for students is to learn to be outgoing."
Madison Wainfeld
Madison Wainfeld is a Deaf Studies major at CSUN and is a member of the sorority SAEPi. Madison's favorite Hillel events were Shabbat dinners. When asked what advice she has for future students, she said, "My advice for students is to enjoy yourself."
Tiffany Brown
Tiffany Brown is a Marketing major at CSUN and was our Social Media Intern for both the 2021-22 and 2022-23 school years. Tiffany's favorite Hillel event was the Maccabiah Games. When asked what advice she has for future students, she said, "My advice for students is to find a community that you enjoy being a part of."
